Our story began in Milwaukee, where my grandfather sold area rugs before learning how to install wall-to-wall carpet back when seams were stitched by hand. He passed those skills and work ethic down to my father, who expanded into hard surface flooring and built his reputation on craftsmanship, honesty, and doing the job right the first time.

That same knowledge was then passed down to me. Today, Spartan Flooring continues that legacy while also helping train the next generation of skilled installers. We believe the trades are important, and we’re proud to give young people fresh out of high school the opportunity to learn valuable hands-on skills from experienced professionals.
